Agincourt
1066 Hastings

Your arrival in London will allow you to visit some of the great attractions of the Medieval era and some of the world class museums such as the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, the London Museum or British Museum. We will travel to Canterbury and the site of the Battle of Hastings and then across the channel to France. We will then travel to the historic battlefields of Agincourt and Crecy and then on to the Medieval city of Rouen. We will tour the city and countryside with a stop in Honfleur and our return to England will be via Calais. Crossing the channel, as William the Conquer did in 1066 AD will see our return to England and London where a Medieval Banquet awaits you for your last evening of the Medieval world.

The Medieval world formed a transitional period between the Dark Ages and the Renaissance and is viewed with sympathetic eyes by many historians as a romantic age of chivalry. It was, however, an era of constant political, military and social turmoil between kings and princes, dukes and barbarians, the ruling classes and the peasants. This tour will give you a taste of the era and hopefully re-create the times with words, commentary, sites and architecture from the Medieval world.

Tours depart from a central location in London.
