Come visit one of the treasures of Canadian History and heritage, the Hudson Bay Company Fort established to trade and defend the companies North from any interlopers.Prince of Wales Fort National Historic Site of Canada near Churchill, Manitoba encompasses a massive fortification along with installations at Cape Merry and Sloop Cove. Here, you can experience the diverse history of the Hudson's Bay Company and the fur trade of the 1700s. The Parks Canada Visitor Centre in Churchill, provides an excellent introduction to the sites with exhibits and special presentations.
